Description
The state funding is aimed at teacher associations in Upper Austria that design and conduct professional development measures for teachers. As a continuously announced grant program, it has enabled the flexible planning and implementation of seminars, workshops, or conferences for professional development since 07.01.2014. The goal is to enhance the pedagogical quality in schools and to intensify professional exchange within the teaching community. Funding is provided according to the General Funding Guidelines of the State of Upper Austria and is directed at non-profit associations or interest groups that demonstrably offer professional development opportunities for teachers in Upper Austria.
A written application is required for submission, including a detailed cost breakdown of the planned measure and the association’s annual financial statement signed in accordance with the statutes. Approval is granted after reviewing the funding requirements; there is no deadline – applications can be submitted at any time online or in paper form to the Office of the Upper Austrian State Government, Directorate for Culture and Society, Department of Society. Proper use of the funds must be documented by original payment receipts.
