Description
The funding measure supports water cooperatives based in Upper Austria that are members of the OÖ WASSER Cooperative Association eGen in ensuring and optimizing cooperative land improvement facilities. Both mechanical and manual maintenance of drainage channels as well as targeted operational measures that ensure orderly and efficient facility operation are funded. A one-time, non-repayable grant of up to 50% of the recognized actual costs is granted, with the maximum funding amount for all measures within a three-year period capped at €10,000. Applications can be submitted continuously and without time limitation, provided that the measure has been coordinated in advance with the funding agency, the fully completed form is submitted on time, and the guidelines of the State of Upper Austria as well as the association’s regulations are acknowledged and complied with.
For the application, in addition to the form, official permits (if required), photographic documentation, project documents including plans and expert reports, as well as invoices and payment receipts must be attached. Proof of further training can be submitted as a supplementary document if needed. The processing is handled by the Directorate for Environment and Water Management of the Office of the Upper Austrian State Government, Group for Cooperative Construction and Service in Linz. After a positive funding commitment, payment will be made upon completion of the measures. This initiative makes an important contribution to environmental protection and the sustainable development of rural areas by strengthening the technical performance and operational safety of land improvement infrastructure in the long term.
