Description
The funding initiative of the State of Burgenland is aimed at agricultural associations and federations as well as non-profit organizations and private individuals who wish to expand their professional, organizational, or market-related activities. Projects are supported with a de minimis grant that would not be economically feasible without public support and for which economic efficiency, appropriateness, and thriftiness are demonstrated. Proper management and the professional suitability of the organization are prerequisites for approval. Applications can be submitted at any time without limitation, ensuring flexible planning and rapid implementation of projects in Burgenland.
Funding is provided, among other things, for personnel costs, capital expenditures, services, as well as expenses for employee training, quality and marketing measures, and the acquisition of inventory and equipment. The maximum grant amounts to up to € 50,000 within three years for projects in agricultural primary production and up to € 300,000 for other investments. Eligible applicants submit a written request to the responsible political office, a current balance sheet, and detailed cost estimates or quotations. Secured overall financing must be demonstrated.
