Description
The Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public institutions nationwide with open application opportunities. As a corporate legacy of the industrialist Dr.-Ing. E. h. Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach, the foundation uses its proceeds exclusively for charitable purposes. Primarily, projects that advance new developments, creative approaches, and voluntary engagement in the statutory areas of science, education, art and culture, as well as health and sports, are funded in the form of grants. There is no fixed deadline for applications, allowing submitted funding requests to be processed continuously.
Priority is given to associations, initiatives, research institutions, and school-based or extracurricular educational providers that operate independently of political and religious affiliations and can demonstrate a valid non-profit status. Among others, projects in the fields of research & innovation, media & music, vocational & further education, as well as work & social affairs are supported. A prerequisite for support is a clearly defined project within one of the statutory areas. Through this, the foundation deliberately sets impulses for equal opportunities, international understanding, and sustainable social engagement, offering those interested in funding the opportunity to implement forward-looking ideas across a broad spectrum of charitable work.
