Funding by the Salzburg State Sports Organization for Salzburg Athletes and Sports Organizations

The funding provided by the Salzburg State Sports Organization supports Salzburg athletes, specialist association and club coaches, as well as sports clubs and associations with financial grants to strengthen regional sports infrastructure and development. The offer is equally aimed at private individuals, interest groups, and other clubs in the state of Salzburg. As an ongoing grant program, it has been funding all projects since April 30, 2013, that primarily serve the public interest and would not be feasible without public funds. Thematic focuses are centered on sport, culture & media.

Eligible expenses include organizational fees, event costs, training costs, travel expenses, participation fees, and anniversary costs. A prerequisite for submitting an application is compliance with the “General Funding Guidelines SPORT Part 2,” in particular proof of at least 25 years of club existence for anniversaries. Funding applications can be submitted at any time depending on the funding subject; only club anniversaries must be applied for in the respective anniversary year. The required documents must be compiled in accordance with the guidelines and submitted punctually to the Salzburg State Sports Organization to ensure prompt review and timely disbursement of the grants.
