Funding objective

Funding of green waste and shrub cut collection points, recycling centers, composting facilities or compost turners in the non-agricultural sector, expansion of ReVital-SHOPS and processing companies, repair, recycling and reuse initiatives, ReVital storage areas in recycling centers, raw material management in companies, remediation and securing of contaminated sites as well as prevention and reduction of hazardous waste in Upper Austria.

Funding requirements

Description

The funding program supports sustainably oriented investments and measures in waste and resource management in Upper Austria and makes a decisive contribution to energy efficiency, climate protection, and environmental protection. Among other things, funding is provided for the establishment of green waste and shrub cuttings collection points, recycling centers, as well as composting facilities and compost turners in the non-agricultural sector. Additionally, ReVital-SHOPS and processing companies can be expanded, repair, recycling, and reuse initiatives can be initiated, and ReVital storage areas can be created within existing collection centers. Furthermore, the funding includes measures for raw material management in companies, the remediation and securing of contaminated sites, and the prevention or reduction of hazardous waste. The offer is continuously available; applications can be submitted at any time and are granted as direct non-repayable subsidies.

Eligible applicants include companies, interest groups and other associations, non-profit organizations and socio-economic enterprises, property owners of contaminated sites, district and state waste associations, municipalities, statutory cities, as well as educational institutions. A prerequisite is the submission of the application prior to the commencement of measures and compliance with the applicable environmental funding guidelines in Upper Austria and the general funding guidelines of the state. Eligible costs include planning and concept costs, investment costs for waste facilities and equipment, approval and permit costs, as well as proof in the form of invoices and payment confirmations. For the application, the completed state application form, a detailed financing plan, and a project description or implementation concept must be submitted. Upon completion of the measure, required approvals, invoices, accounting forms, and, if applicable, clearance letters from other funding agencies must be submitted.
