Description
Thermal building renovation in Upper Austria promotes investments in energy-efficient measures to sustainably reduce the energy consumption and CO₂ emissions of businesses in line with the energy strategy "Energy Future 2030." As a direct grant funding, the state of Upper Austria continuously supports both natural and legal persons with locations in the region. Funding is provided, among other things, for the insulation of top and bottom floor ceilings, exterior walls, and roofs, the replacement or renovation of windows and exterior doors, the installation of heat recovery systems in ventilation systems, and external shading systems. Applications can be submitted at any time, enabling flexible planning and implementation of the respective measures.
This funding program targets companies of all sizes as well as private individuals seeking thermal renovation of their building stock. A prerequisite for the grant is proof of a location in Upper Austria and status as a natural or legal person. After positive approval, the disbursement of the commitment takes place following the review of the fully submitted documents. The funded measures must serve the intended purpose for ten years and, upon request, allow control authorities access to documents and on-site inspections. By combining different efficiency measures, not only can heating energy demand be reduced, but a significant contribution to regional climate and environmental protection can also be made.
