Description
In Tyrol, ongoing grant funding is available for musical initiatives, supporting both individuals with exceptional talent as well as registered associations, organizations, and public institutions. Funding is provided for concert events, festivals, and concert tours, composition scholarships with premiere guarantees, CD productions with a clear Tyrolean connection, organ restorations within their musically relevant scope, as well as research and documentation projects. Furthermore, financing covers musical education and training as well as the acquisition of instruments. The funding is granted based on the Tyrolean Cultural Promotion Act (§ 7) and the Cultural Promotion Guidelines (§ 3). Applications can be submitted at any time, ensuring flexible and long-term planning of cultural projects.
For the application, a fully completed funding application, a detailed project description, a comprehensive cost calculation, and a realistic financing plan must be submitted. The evaluation is carried out by experts from the Department of Culture at the Office of the Tyrolean State Government, who ensure close support and consultation of the funded projects. The goal is to sustainably promote cultural diversity in the region and optimally develop musical potential. The state administration also offers further information and sample forms on the Department of Culture’s website. Interested associations and institutions, as well as outstandingly talented artists, can thus implement their projects with professional support and make a valuable contribution to Tyrol’s vibrant musical landscape.
