Funding objective
Projects are funded that cannot be covered by the specific funding guidelines of the State of Tyrol. These include, among others, the structural improvement of small and medium-sized enterprises, business start-ups and settlements, especially by young entrepreneurs, quality enhancement in the tourism and leisure industry, research, development and innovation, expansion of sustainable broadband infrastructure, environmental protection, renewable energy sources, energy savings and alternative drive systems, securing local supply, business consulting, operational cooperations (especially single-person enterprises), opening up new markets within the EU area and beyond, equality and reconciliation of work and family, as well as the establishment and improvement of important municipal or regional infrastructure measures.

Description
The program “Funding under the Framework Directive for Tyrolean Economic Promotion” has provided, from 01.01.2023 until 31.12.2027, a continuously accessible grant for particularly deserving projects in the state of Tyrol that are not covered by the existing funding guidelines. Projects by private individuals, sole proprietorships, corporations and partnerships, cooperatives, associations, public institutions, as well as non-profit organizations and start-ups are eligible for funding. The broad range of offerings aims to strengthen innovation and sustainable development in the region while simultaneously promoting the initiative and self-help of the applicants. Applications can be submitted at any time during the funding period, provided all formal and substantive requirements are met.
The funding objectives include, among others, the structural improvement of small and medium-sized enterprises, the settlement and founding of young entrepreneurs, quality enhancement in tourism and leisure sectors, research, development and innovation, as well as the expansion of sustainable broadband infrastructure. Furthermore, environmental protection measures, renewable energy sources, energy savings and alternative drive systems, securing local supply, business consulting, cooperations (especially single-person enterprises), opening up new markets within the EU and third countries, equality and work-family balance, as well as municipally important infrastructure projects are supported. A prerequisite for a grant is the determination of the type and extent of funding in accordance with EU state aid law, secured overall financing, fulfillment of personal, factual, and legal requirements, as well as compliance with principles of economic efficiency, thriftiness, and sustainability.
