Description
In Carinthia, the Office of the Carinthian State Government, Department 8 – Environment, Nature Conservation and Climate Protection Coordination, continuously awards grants for projects and measures in the field of environmental information and education. Eligible for funding are natural and legal persons as well as companies, cooperatives, foundations, associations, educational institutions, and non-profit initiatives. The aim of the funding is to strengthen educational and informational offerings that contribute to a responsible use of natural resources and convey climate- and environment-related topics in a target group-oriented manner. Supported activities include, among others, workshops, lecture series, multimedia information campaigns, and innovative teaching concepts that provide a concrete added value for sustainable development and environmental awareness.
Applications can be submitted at any time; since 01.01.2013, there has been an unlimited deadline for submission. A direct grant is awarded as the type of funding. A prerequisite for approval is the complete information in the funding application, including proof of parallel applications to other funding bodies, as well as the necessary official approval. Upon completion of the funded measure, proof of the appropriate use of funds must be provided.
