Description

Funding Contributions for Publications support publishers, authors, associations, institutions, private individuals, as well as public entities in Upper Austria in the publication of printed works with content related to the region or benefiting its citizens. Funding is provided for, among other things, folders, brochures, and other print publications that refer content-wise to regional events, projects, or the cultural-historical diversity of Upper Austria. The funding is granted as a non-repayable subsidy, with the total budget available annually and no costs incurred by applicants. The measure aims to strengthen content diversity and regional identity through high-quality printed materials and to promote the public relations work of actors in the fields of media, culture, and education.

An informal application including a project description and cost plan must be submitted no later than December 1 of each year before the printing measure begins. Additionally, evidence of proper use (exemplary copies, original invoices) must be attached. Eligible for funding are both legal entities and natural persons, non-profit organizations, and public institutions based in Upper Austria. The application documents include the informal funding application, a detailed project description, and the cost plan. Submission is made to the Office of the Upper Austrian State Government, Directorate Presidency, Department of Communication and Media in Linz. The goal is to realize projects of regional value and to sustainably enrich the cultural and media landscape of the federal state.
