Description
The Förderverein Sankt Johannes e. V. is committed in Bavaria to initiatives that would not be feasible without public funding. Under the umbrella of the Stiftung Behindertenwerk St. Johannes, the association supports animal-assisted pedagogy, equine therapy, as well as leisure and educational programs to enable people with disabilities to lead self-determined lives. Funds from membership fees and donations are allocated 100% to projects such as the acquisition of therapy horses, specialized equipment, or inclusive events. Both private individuals and non-profit organizations and companies engaged in the fields of social affairs, health, animal welfare, labor & social issues, as well as energy efficiency & climate protection are supported.
Admission is based on a completed application form and payment of the annual fee (starting at €6 for people with disabilities, €18 for natural persons, €60 for legal entities). Funding can be applied for at any time, as there are no fixed deadlines. As proof, in addition to the application, a confirmation of donation (donation receipt) and, if applicable, project-specific documents must be submitted. The association thus offers continuous and targeted support that sustainably strengthens social participation and quality of life.
