Description
The Fund for Young Ideas of the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration supports creative and participatory youth projects in Hesse with a grant of up to 1,000 euros. The goal is to support the commitment and ideas of young people between the ages of 12 and 18 and to jointly realize projects in the neighborhood, at school, or in other locations. Applications can be submitted continuously as long as funds are available. The creativity of the project, the degree of participation, and the feasibility of the project idea are evaluated. Funding can be used for material costs as well as event and workshop expenses.
Eligible for funding are groups of at least two to three young people who can demonstrate cooperation with a non-profit organization, a youth association, or a municipality. Private individuals and schools cannot apply directly. The application requires a detailed project description, a cost overview, information about the sponsor including bank details, and a brief letter of motivation. The application is reviewed by Specialist Department II 3 Youth/Youth Work. A detailed accounting is not required; a simple receipt confirmation from the sponsor is sufficient. With the Fund for Young Ideas, committed youth groups in Hesse receive straightforward support to creatively implement their own projects and actively shape their living environment.
