Description
The DAA Foundation for Education and Profession supports application-oriented research projects of the participating companies in Germany, which deal with vocational and social pedagogical issues as well as labor market and education policy topics. With a funding amount of up to €20,000 per project and a maximum duration of 18 months, personnel costs, material and travel expenses, as well as publication costs are covered. The funding is provided as a grant with a 100% funding rate and can be applied for continuously. The aim is to improve the quality of existing educational offerings, provide practice-oriented impulses for future activities, and strengthen the innovative capacity within the foundation network.
Eligible for funding are companies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations that contribute to training, further education, and scientific cooperation. A prerequisite is the application by responsible persons of the participating companies using the standardized proposal form, approval by the respective management, and cooperation with public or non-profit research institutions. The evaluation particularly considers the application relevance and benefit for the participants, the scientific quality of the methodological approach, the relevance for vocational educational work, as well as the innovation and impulse potential. The continuous submission of project outlines enables flexible planning and implementation of new studies that create a direct practical connection in the areas of research & innovation, science, and education.
