Description
The ZVK Foundation for the Promotion of Research and Evaluation in Physiotherapy supports research projects, scientific development work, and evaluations with relevance to physiotherapy anchored in Germany. Eligible for funding are private individuals, educational institutions, as well as non-profit organizations that present projects in the planning stage or – in justified cases – studies already underway. The aim of the support is to establish evidence-based and further develop therapeutic concepts in order to sustainably improve the quality of physiotherapeutic care. Applications can be submitted continuously, enabling timely promotion of innovative impulses.
Funded are personnel costs for administrative and scientific positions, the acquisition of equipment, software, and hardware, as well as project-related expenses such as literature searches or postage costs. Requirements include a clear physiotherapeutic focus, implementation by physiotherapists – if applicable in interdisciplinary cooperation – and a significant connection to Germany. Scholarships, qualification theses other than master's and doctoral projects, as well as works submitted or intended to be submitted for a Physio Deutschland study award, are not supported.
