Forestry Measures in the State of Salzburg

In the state of Salzburg, an ongoing grant program supports interest groups and associations in efficiently fulfilling their forestry tasks. The aim of the basic funding is to enable the Salzburg Forestry Association to provide expert advice to forest owners – the so-called "Eingeforsteten" – on all matters related to their forestry rights. The funding covers areas such as agriculture, rural development, environmental and nature conservation, as well as energy efficiency and climate protection, thereby contributing to sustainable forest management in the region.

Only the Forestry Association, as the central contact point for all forest-related legal issues, is eligible for funding. A prerequisite for receiving the grant is the active provision of advisory services to the Eingeforsteten. Since the program is offered without a time limit, funding applications can be submitted at any time. This continuous support measure ensures that the association consistently has the necessary financial resources to reliably meet the information and support needs of forest owners. Thus, the basic funding not only strengthens the association's expertise but also makes a significant contribution to the preservation and care of Salzburg's forests.
