Description
The continuing education funding in disability assistance supports organizations in Bavaria in conducting training programs for professional staff, volunteers, and relatives of people with disabilities. The aim of the program is to impart, expand, and sustainably deepen specific knowledge. Measures that cover both theoretical and practical content and provide participants with new competencies in the health, social, as well as education and training sectors are funded. The type of funding granted is a subsidy covering up to 90% of eligible expenses and is endowed with a flat rate of up to €50 per training unit (45 minutes). The project duration spans 12 months; applications must be submitted to the Zentrum Bayern Familie und Soziales by October 31 of the previous year.
Application requirements include the submission of a detailed training program with all planned modules as well as ensuring a minimum number of eight participants per measure. Eligible expenses include room rental, speaker fees, travel, and material costs. A personal contribution of at least 10% of the eligible costs must be demonstrated. After verifying the completeness of the application and a positive evaluation of the training program, the granting authority decides on the subsidy. The offer is aimed at companies, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions wishing to implement innovative, needs-oriented qualification measures in disability assistance.
