Career counseling for women and girls with regard to professional and personal aspects

The program supports projects in Burgenland that assist women and girls through tailored career counseling to harmoniously integrate professional goals into personal life plans. The focus is on individual challenges such as caregiving responsibilities, mobility issues, and language barriers, for which practical solutions are developed collaboratively. Additionally, the program specifically fosters interest in technology and confidently breaks down role stereotypes. Another key focus is on testing innovative collective organizational forms, such as cooperatives or associations, to strengthen women’s self-determination and entrepreneurial networking.

Funding is provided to non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, associations, as well as companies active in the fields of women’s promotion, counseling, education and training, work & social affairs, and consulting & business financing. The funding is granted as a subsidy, with a total budget of 0.5 million euros. Applications can be submitted continuously, allowing for flexible project planning. The state of Burgenland aims to reduce barriers, establish sustainable networks, and support women in their personal and professional development. Through close project supervision, a dynamic funding environment is created that noticeably advances participation and equal opportunities.
