Open Funding (Citizen.Foundation.Halle)

The Free Funding of the Bürger.Stiftung.Halle is aimed at non-profit organizations, interest groups, and associations in Saxony-Anhalt that plan projects with a clear local connection to Halle. As a continuous grant program, the foundation supports initiatives in the areas of social cohesion and democracy, regional development, labor & social affairs, as well as agriculture & rural development. In addition to financial support, Bürger.Stiftung.Halle offers advisory assistance with its expertise, facilitates contacts with potential cooperation partners, and accompanies project sponsors in implementing their ideas. Due to the open submission deadline, project applications can be submitted at any time, thus providing the opportunity to flexibly support even spontaneous initiatives.

Only non-profit entities whose projects align with the goals of Bürger.Stiftung.Halle and comply with the foundation’s statutes are eligible for funding. A clear connection to Halle, non-profit status, and conformity with the foundation’s statutes constitute the central funding requirements. The funding amount is determined according to the project scope; small and medium-sized initiatives have just as good chances as established programs. The open procedure creates a dynamic dialogue between the funder and the applicant, making creative concepts from the community visible and sustainably strengthening civic engagement.
