Description

The funding initiative Free Welfare – Employment Pact is aimed at non-profit associations and interest groups in Upper Austria and provides unlimited grants for training, qualification, and employment projects. The focus is on young people and young adults as well as individuals distant from the labor market, the long-term unemployed, and those entitled to asylum and subsidiary protection. Additionally, measures for career orientation and professional integration of recipients of needs-based minimum income support are promoted. Thanks to ongoing submission opportunities, project start and funding application can be flexibly aligned with the individual implementation plan, ensuring tailored support.

Funding requirements include the non-profit status of the organization as well as the alignment of the project purpose with the funding objectives. Allocation of funds is based on the criteria of economy, efficiency, and appropriateness; cost reasonableness must be observed as well as a secured financing concept in advance. Required documents include, among others, the current extract from the association register, the association statutes, a detailed concept, a comprehensive financial plan, the latest annual financial statement, and the funding declaration (form FinD/E-2). The application must be submitted before the project start; proof of appropriate use of funds will be reviewed within the framework of the funding agreement. Thus, the program sustainably contributes to the professional integration of disadvantaged target groups in Upper Austria.
