Description

The funding program FTI-OÖ – Cooperation FFG provides non-repayable support for research, development, and innovation projects in Upper Austria during the period from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2026. The goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of regional companies and research institutions in line with the "Strategic Economic and Research Strategy #upperVISION2030." Through call procedures aligned with local priorities on the FFG eCall platform, applicants can apply for non-repayable grants for industry-related R&D projects. Special emphasis is placed on cooperation with universities, non-university research institutions, and universities of applied sciences to promote knowledge and technology transfer and to network innovation clusters in the region.

To submit an application, natural and legal persons or partnerships from Upper Austria must demonstrate a clear project connection to regional development and operate outside the state administration. Applications are submitted exclusively electronically via the FFG eCall portal. Funding is provided primarily for project-related expenses, investments in research and testing infrastructures, as well as costs for scientific personnel. All requirements and funding categories are specified in the respective call documents, whose deadlines and details are published daily on the FFG website. The program offers an attractive source of financing for forward-looking projects that sustainably strengthen Upper Austria as a research and business location.
