Description

The Claere Jung Foundation provides nationwide support to blind and visually impaired individuals of all age groups to sustainably improve their quality of life, participation, and mobility. Through uncomplicated grants, technical aids such as Braille printers, specialized software, or talking household appliances are made available. Additionally, the foundation supports therapies, the production of audio media, as well as the acquisition of musical instruments or tandems. The goal is to enable recipients to gain greater independence and scope for action in everyday life and to increase opportunities in studies, work, or leisure.

Eligible for funding are private individuals, non-profit organizations, interest groups, and associations that submit a worthy project and meet the foundation’s allocation criteria. A prerequisite for application is a disability ID card with the designation “BL,” an ophthalmological certificate (no older than three months), as well as proof of monthly income. The application must include a project outline, a cost and financing plan, and copies of the required documents. Since applications can be submitted at any time, ongoing review is possible. In this way, the Claere Jung Foundation ensures timely support that allows blind and visually impaired people to shape their daily lives independently and participate actively in social life.
