Description
The Future Lab of the German-Israeli Future Forum Foundation supports short German-Israeli project development meetings with a grant of up to €2,000 for travel, accommodation, and material costs. Public institutions, non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, as well as companies from Germany and Israel can submit applications throughout the year to concretize innovative cooperation ideas. The goal is to enable young professionals and civil society actors aged 18 to 45 to exchange ideas and jointly develop forward-looking projects. The funding covers thematic areas such as social cohesion, democracy, education for sustainable development, research & innovation, as well as vocational and further training.
Participants from both countries – ideally four to six people – develop their project idea in a clearly structured concept with reference to at least one UN Sustainable Development Goal. A prerequisite is the support of at least one German and/or Israeli organization or institution. Selection is based on an online application form containing all relevant information about the project idea, timeframe, and cost estimate. Applicants receive a funding decision within four to six weeks after submission. The Future Lab thus sets new impulses for future-oriented German-Israeli partnerships.
