Money for Good: Engagement Fund supports community-oriented initiatives by volunteers in Hamburg-Bergedorf with straightforward grants typically ranging from €400 up to a maximum of €1,000. The fund is managed by STEB – Foundation for Engagement in Hamburg-Bergedorf and the Bergedorf District Office. Individuals, non-profit organizations, and public institutions can submit applications on an ongoing basis, provided the project is rooted in Bergedorf and serves social cohesion or social action. The grants cover 100% of eligible expenses and enable the rapid implementation of voluntary projects in the district.

Funding is provided for training and further education, coaching, sports equipment, as well as material and consumables – including printing and travel costs, expense allowances, and catering. A prerequisite is voluntary engagement in Bergedorf and a community-oriented project idea. To apply, a completed application form, a brief project description (max. 1 DIN A4 page), and optionally supplementary image or flyer materials must be submitted.
