Description

A funding initiative in Styria covers the costs of accommodation, meals, and care in women's shelters for up to six months. Non-profit organizations and public institutions can apply as funding applicants for a 100% grant to provide affected women and their minor children with a safe environment. The funding covers daily rates for accommodation, meals, and socio-educational care and can be extended twice for two additional months each after the initial two months. The aim of the measure is to support coping with experiences of violence in family emergencies through qualified and protected admission to specialized facilities.

Applications can be submitted continuously from the project start date and require a fully completed application as well as proof of eligibility for funding in Styria. Eligible expenses include exclusively accommodation costs, meal costs, and care costs. The maximum project duration is six months; the final proof of use must be submitted no later than September 30 of the following year. Submission requires a detailed financial plan with named personnel costs, a meaningful project concept, and documents regarding the funding recipient (association statutes or company register excerpt). This continuous funding opportunity is specifically aimed at institutions supporting affected women and their children in processing experiences of violence.
