Description

Investment grants from state funds in Carinthia enable the implementation of urgently needed social construction measures under the Carinthian Minimum Security Act in the area of violence protection centers (women’s shelters) and socio-economic enterprises. The primary purpose of funding is to support non-profit associations, organizations, and independent welfare providers in order to realize projects with a funding rate of up to 70% – maximum €100,000. Eligible costs include production costs, ancillary construction costs such as planning and construction management fees, land acquisition, and development costs. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing providers to respond flexibly to acute needs. The unlimited funding opportunity ensures that construction measures are implemented promptly, thereby strengthening the social infrastructure in the long term.

For successful approval, a complete subsidy application and the signing of the declaration of commitment are mandatory prerequisites. Additionally, a financing plan, building permit, construction plans, and a rough cost estimate must be submitted, as well as a copy of the fire insurance policy and a professional statement from Department 4 – Social Competence Center. The project must be in the public interest and demonstrate that own funds are insufficient. Compliance with the guidelines for the promotion of social construction measures ensures economy, efficiency, and appropriateness in all work steps. This guarantees that every investment optimally contributes to strengthening protection and employment facilities in Carinthia and provides providers with sustainable planning security.
