- Submission of a realistic business stabilization plan including financial restructuring, organizational structure, and strategic positioning
- No double granting of restructuring aid
- No capacity increase or acquisition of shares during the restructuring period (exception: small companies to secure the business continuity)
- Companies not younger than three years since commencement of business activities
Description
The Commercial Tourism Promotion 2023–2027 aims to restore the economic stability of tourism service providers in the federal states of Salzburg and Vienna. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism and leisure industry that have encountered difficulties according to the EU definition can apply for a one-time grant. This requires the preparation of a realistic business stabilization concept, which, in addition to measures for financial restructuring, also includes information on organizational structure and strategic positioning. Furthermore, it is a prerequisite that there is no insolvency, no double granting of restructuring aid occurs, and no capacity expansion or acquisition of shares takes place during the restructuring period (exception: SMEs for securing continuity). Newly founded companies with less than three years of business activity are excluded.
The program aims to preserve the diversity of tourism offerings and secure jobs through both non-financial and financial support measures. Applications can be submitted by eligible companies until December 31, 2027. The Austrian Hotel and Tourism Bank GmbH (OeHT) acts as the implementing agency and provides additional consulting and expertise. Interested companies benefit from a targeted funding instrument that enables the long-term continuation of hospitality and leisure operations, thereby making an important contribution to regional economic strengthening.
