Gottlieb-Kenntemich Scholarship

The Gottlieb-Kenntemich Scholarship of the Passau University Foundation enables students of economics from Eastern and East-Central Europe to undertake regular stays at the University of Passau and supports their academic and personal development. It funds private applicants who are enrolled at a university in the specified regions and seek an exchange program through the International Office of the University of Passau. The foundation’s concept originates from an endowment by former chief editors of Bavarian Television and Central German Broadcasting, who donated their prize money to this funding purpose. With this, the Passau University Foundation sets a sign for international cooperation and promotes intercultural exchange among young economic talents. Interested students submit their applications via the International Office of the University of Passau and provide proof of enrollment in an economics degree program at a university in Eastern or East-Central Europe.
