Description
The Badische Posaunenarbeit Foundation annually supports the establishment of new district brass schools in Baden-Württemberg to ensure sustainable youth training within the Evangelical Church in Baden. Eligible to apply are brass districts as non-profit associations or interest groups that independently submit a music education concept. The selection is based on the quality and feasibility of the submitted paper, the commitment and experience of the applicants, as well as a clear, long-term perspective. Districts may submit a concept paper and an application letter from the responsible managing director by the summer of each year. The board of trustees decides on the allocation of the founding capital in the autumn.
The comprehensive support package includes advice on legal form, personnel and financial planning, assistance with formalities, as well as templates for promotional and working materials. An individual exchange of experiences with established brass schools and the creation of a dedicated web presence complete the offer. In addition, a one-time grant of €1,000 is provided to enable the operational start. This funding model strengthens musical work on site, promotes the exchange of experience within the district network, and offers both young people and adults the opportunity to further develop their talents in brass work. Through the continuous establishment of additional locations, the initiative makes an important contribution to the future viability of brass work and connects faith, community, and music throughout Baden.
