Good Intentions is an ongoing funding program by the Bürger.Stiftung.Halle that effectively supports civic engagement in the urban area of Halle an der Saale. Private individuals, non-profit organizations, interest groups, and associations from Saxony-Anhalt can apply for a grant to realize their ideas for stronger neighborhood cohesion. The program is aimed at everyone who wishes to enrich communal life in their street, district, or city with smaller or larger initiatives. Projects focusing on social cohesion, democracy promotion, regional development, labor & social affairs, as well as agriculture & rural development are particularly prioritized.
To receive funding approval, submitted projects must include a concrete project idea aimed at improving coexistence in Halle and be fully implemented within the city area. After approval, applicants must submit proof of fund utilization and accounting to receive and properly document the grant.
