Description
The craft projects of the Peter Jensen Foundation are committed nationwide to strengthening dual vocational training in the SHK trades (sanitary, heating, air conditioning). The focus is on supporting specialist companies in recruiting sufficient apprentices to counteract the increasing shortage of skilled workers. At the same time, apprentices and vocational school students benefit from targeted learning opportunities and exam preparations that help them successfully pass their professional exams with good results. This commitment sustainably enhances the attractiveness and quality of training in the craft sector and promotes the long-term competitiveness of companies.
Funding is provided to companies and private individuals who operate as specialist companies in the SHK trades and involve apprentices or vocational school students in relevant programs. Eligible applicants are those planning or already implementing measures for apprentice recruitment, exam preparation, or learning materials. Funding is granted in the form of a subsidy, which can be applied for continuously. Only expenses for exam preparation, learning materials, and targeted recruitment measures are considered. In this way, the Peter Jensen Foundation supports specialist companies in training young talents in a practice-oriented manner and sustainably securing educational success in the SHK trades.
