Assistance for Merchants

The Conrad Foundation offers tailored support to merchants with registered businesses in Berlin who have fallen into financial hardship through no fault of their own. The aim is to secure private living expenses in difficult situations. The grant is awarded based on an informal written application; prior contact with the management is recommended to clarify individual requirements and discuss necessary documents. Essential funding prerequisites include business registration in Berlin and proof of an involuntary financial emergency. The decision is based on a review by the board of the Conrad Foundation, the outcome of which does not give rise to any legal claims.

For the application, an informal letter or the provided application form suffices, in which evidence of ongoing living expenses as well as the business registration are presented. Submission is possible at any time, as funding opportunities are continuously available. Merchants thus receive uncomplicated access to financial relief to secure their private livelihood and to be able to focus on their entrepreneurial commitment in the long term.
