Description

The relief fund Zuflucht Stuttgart of the Bürgerstiftung Stuttgart is aimed at non-profit organizations and public institutions engaged in supporting Ukrainian refugees in Stuttgart. Under the umbrella of this fund, uncomplicated grants are provided for a wide range of measures – from short-term direct aid such as emergency packages and language courses to sustainable counseling and integration projects. Through this funding initiative, local initiatives can respond flexibly to current needs, thereby strengthening social cohesion and democratic participation in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg.

The continuously available funds can be applied for at any time, provided the applicants are based in Stuttgart or work directly with refugees on site. Projects in the fields of social affairs, migration, work & social issues, as well as engagement for social cohesion and democracy, are supported. The current focus is on civil society rebuilding – for example, through networking, low-threshold counseling services, and educational formats.
