Description

IMPULS Qualification Program offers continuous support for specialist events, seminars, and online seminars to educational institutions, interest groups, and associations operating in Hamburg. The goal is to enhance the quality in the planning and execution of sustainable building projects through knowledge transfer on energy-efficient and resource-conserving construction, the use of renewable energies, and renewable building materials. Funding is provided for measures targeting architects, engineers, energy consultants, construction companies, building and housing administrations, property owners, investors, as well as teachers in vocational training and further education. Funding is granted as a subsidy with a base amount of up to €1,000 for six- to eight-hour in-person events or €600 for three- to four-hour seminars, each plus €25–50 per participant (max. 200 participants). Online seminars are subsidized with a base amount of €500 and €20 per participant (max. 100 participants). Applications must be submitted before the start of the measure and can be made throughout the year.

Requirements for funding include having a registered office in Hamburg, a properly managed institution, and proof of appropriate use of funds. Each event must have at least 10 participants; for in-person seminars, two consecutive sessions require ≥ 75% positive evaluations each. Online seminars exclusively support participants from the Hamburg metropolitan region with a minimum participation rate of 75%. Participant fees must not exceed €100 (up to 4 hours) or €150 (over 6 hours). Companies in difficulty as well as certain sectors and activities are excluded from funding. This program promotes high-quality professional knowledge transfer in the field of sustainable construction and climate protection to make construction practice in Hamburg future-proof.
