Loan volumes range from €250,000 up to €25 million, can cover up to 100% of eligible costs, and have a term of up to 30 years. Informal inquiries are possible at any time, allowing investment backlogs in areas such as general administration, public safety, cultural preservation, or municipal transport infrastructure to be addressed flexibly. The funding amount and conditions are based on the collateralization of the project and the degree of integration with local authorities.
The target recipients are public sector institutions and privately organized companies under public law headquartered in Rhineland-Palatinate, including local authorities, public-law special-purpose associations, municipal enterprises, public law foundations, as well as non-profit organizations and churches. Investments in urban and village development, social infrastructure (kindergartens, schools), supply and disposal, energy saving and conversion, as well as land acquisition are supported. Companies in difficulty are excluded. Noteworthy is the contribution to strengthening economic and social cohesion, environmental protection, secure energy supply, health care, and the expansion of trans-European networks, thereby promoting equivalent living conditions throughout the entire state.
