Description
The in-house training sessions in the care sector in Salzburg provide financial support to public institutions and non-profit organizations in the fields of education and training, health, social affairs, as well as labor and social services. The measure aims to further educate employees of senior homes, care facilities, and child and youth welfare institutions through individually organized on-site or online training sessions. A grant covers 50% of the fee costs up to €1,000 per training day, which corresponds to a maximum payment of €500 per day. Up to €2,000 per provider can be claimed annually, whereby a training day comprises at least six hours without breaks and one hour is subsidized with a maximum of €80. The type of funding is a direct grant, which can be applied for continuously subject to sufficient budget availability.
At least five participants are required to submit an application, and the training topic must have a recommendation from the specialist department of the Social Affairs Division. All documents, including the completed application form, a detailed offer from the trainers, and approval from Department 3/06, must be submitted by August 15 of the current year at the latest. After completion of the training, the signed attendance list, the fee invoice, and the institution’s bank details must be submitted. Additionally required are the application form from Department 20306 and the formal approval by the specialist department. Room rentals, travel expenses, and catering services are excluded from funding. The continuously available funds serve the professional quality development and sustainably strengthen competencies in the care sector.
