Description
The funding program Innovation Consulting Services and Innovation-Supporting Services (IDL) is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as start-ups located or operating in Bremen. The objective is to promote the market launch of particularly innovative products, processes, or services. Consulting and external services in the areas of market research, market analysis, development of marketing and sales strategies, as well as prototype and sample development are supported. Approval is granted in the form of a grant covering up to 50% of eligible external services – up to a maximum of €20,000 per project. A prerequisite is the submission of the application before the start of the measures, proof of SME status, and a project outline with cost estimates from the commissioned service providers.
Eligible expenses include external consulting services and knowledge transfer in the course of market development; excluded are R&D projects already subsidized elsewhere, contract projects for third parties, and companies in difficulty. The accompaniment, evaluation, and approval are carried out by Bremer Aufbau-Bank GmbH as the central project sponsor. The combination of several service providers within a project is possible, allowing for tailor-made individual consulting packages. Since applications can be submitted continuously, interested companies can flexibly respond to market opportunities and strengthen their innovative capacity through targeted strategic measures.
