Innovation Voucher Bavaria

The Innovation Voucher Bavaria supports small businesses and craft enterprises in the Free State with technologically oriented development and innovation projects. This grant can be used to finance external research and technology consultations as well as feasibility studies, enabling practical testing and well-founded implementation of technical innovations. Applications can be submitted continuously, provided the company has its headquarters or a branch in Bavaria and is classified as a small business or craft enterprise. The goal is to professionalize ideas with high innovation potential, increase market readiness, and strengthen competitiveness in the long term.

The funding body is the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, which has entrusted project management to Projektträger Bayern – a business unit of Bayern Innovativ GmbH. This body supports companies from the initial inquiry through to the successful completion of the project, refers them to partners such as BayFOR GmbH or the Bavarian Research Foundation for specific issues, and provides access to an extensive network. The funding is explicitly aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises planning technology-oriented development and wishing to involve external expertise.
