Description
The funding is aimed at small local supply businesses and founders in Vienna who wish to develop innovative, resource-saving, and digital solutions for daily needs. With a maximum funding amount of €75,000 per project and a funding rate of 50%, the program supports investments starting from a volume of €20,000. Eligible expenses include, for example, construction measures, technical equipment and machinery, material and supply costs, as well as licenses and concessions. Additionally, external consulting costs, marketing and training measures, as well as personnel costs within the scope of the project can be applied for. Excluded are expenses related to ongoing business operations, purely modernizing renovations, costs for opening additional branches, vending machine spaces, or goodwill payments. The project duration is up to 24 months, with early submission before project commencement being a prerequisite. Furthermore, a women’s bonus and a start-up bonus of €5,000 each can be applied for if the project is led by a qualified woman or if it is a new establishment.
Companies with fewer than 50 employees from the sectors of trade and crafts, commerce, gastronomy, as well as book and media trade, with headquarters and operations in Vienna, meet the funding eligibility criteria. Applications are submitted online and require a completed funding application, an application confirmation, a de minimis declaration, the latest annual financial statement or income-expenditure statement, as well as the CV of the project management. Submissions are possible until 31 December 2026, with deadlines on 15 April, 15 August, and 31 December each year. Evaluation is carried out by an independent jury based on the criteria of innovativeness, sustainability, and strengthening of local supply. The goal is to invigorate Vienna with fresh ideas and strengthen local structures.
