Description
The lump-sum funding from the State of Lower Austria provides institutional support to non-profit private child and youth welfare institutions in Lower Austria for addressing separation, divorce, or the death of close relatives. Eligible for funding are visitation cafés, follow-up visitation support, Rainbow groups, as well as mobile care services that enable meeting places and individual support in a child-friendly atmosphere within the living environment of young people. Under the thematic focuses of Social Affairs, Children and Youth, and Work & Social Affairs, these measures promote the processing of stressful situations and support professional exchange among educational specialists.
Eligible for funding are institutions with confirmed suitability according to § 26 of the Lower Austrian Child and Youth Welfare Act. As a grant model, the lump-sum funding can be applied for continuously: initial funding applications must be submitted by March 31 of the current year, subsequent applications by January 31. Required documents include, among others, the fully completed funding application, a current association register or commercial register excerpt, a detailed budget or overall budget forecast, an income and expenditure overview, as well as the final proof of use. Allocation is based on the guidelines for lump-sum funding dated December 20, 2005, and the priority order according to § 8. In this way, regional services are sustainably strengthened so that children and young people in stressful life situations receive expert support.
