Integration on Site

The Lower Saxony Lotto Sports Foundation supports innovative, small-scale projects with the Integration on Site program that aim to facilitate the everyday life of people with a migration background and strengthen social cohesion in Lower Saxony. The program is aimed at non-profit organizations, associations, and initiatives that have not yet started implementing their projects. Through grants of up to 3,000 euros – with a funding rate of 50% – supportive activities, intercultural exchange, and shared experiences are to be initiated. It is essential that additional funds in the form of own contributions, donations, or sponsorships are provided to implement the projects according to needs.

The focus of the funding is the effort to actively promote social participation and togetherness. The projects should address specific local needs through targeted measures and set long-term positive impulses for integration and cohesion. A wide range of project ideas, from educational initiatives to participatory events as well as intercultural festivals and sports offerings, are taken into account. The foundation places particular emphasis on professional application submission, sustainable implementation, and the involvement of volunteers to ensure the benefit and impact of the projects well beyond the funding period.
