Description
The state government of Burgenland offers a permanent funding opportunity starting from 01.01.2025, which specifically supports projects aimed at better social and cultural integration in the region. This funding program is directed both at natural persons with a migration background – including asylum seekers, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection, recognized refugees, and third-country nationals – as well as legal entities such as interest groups and associations implementing integrative measures. The focus is on innovative approaches that combine language acquisition, intercultural exchange, and access to the labor market. The funding is granted in the form of a grant and is continuously open, allowing applicants to submit their project proposals at any time.
The basis for a funding commitment is the timely submission of the following documents: a proof of identity (copy of the BFA card, the convention travel document, or the residence permit), the provision of bank details for individuals, as well as a current association register extract and annual financial statement for associations or institutions. Additionally, a detailed financing plan must be submitted to transparently demonstrate the use of funds. The funding covers both planning and implementation phases and includes reporting obligations up to six months after the project’s completion. With this funding, the state of Burgenland strengthens community cohesion and sets sustainable impulses for successful integration processes in all municipalities.
