Description
The ESF+-funded grant "Utilizing International Potentials – Shaping Transitions from Studies to Employment" is aimed at Hessian universities according to § 2 HHG and supports innovative model projects for the support of students and university graduates with a migration background. The focus is on career orientation, practice-oriented study modules, and the expansion of job-related networks to prepare the target group for successful integration into the Hessian labor market. Furthermore, study programs are to be adapted so that future skilled workers can be precisely linked to the requirements of regional companies.
The funding is provided as a grant with a funding rate of up to 40% of the eligible total expenses and is intended for a duration of 36 to 48 months (project start from January 1, 2023). Applications must be submitted annually by September 30 electronically via the WIBank customer portal as well as in writing through the university management. A prerequisite is that the model projects go beyond the existing catalog of measures, establish innovative formats, and that the project results are integrated into the university landscape on a long-term basis. The funds are provided by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art in cooperation with the Wirtschafts- und Infrastrukturbank Hessen within the framework of the European Social Fund Plus. Details are documented in the funding guidelines of the Hessian Ministry.
