Description

The international orientation of the school enriches the Velden school location and contributes to strengthening the education sector in Carinthia. As a grant, specific rental costs and proportional operating expenses are supported, thereby ensuring sustainable financing and further development of the offering. Educational institutions can continuously apply for funding from 01.09.2021 to 31.08.2026. Monthly submission periods allow for timely adjustment to financial needs. The requirements and conditions are derived from the individually concluded funding agreement, which forms the basis for the subsidy.

Particularly eligible for funding are educational institutions that wish to maintain an internationally oriented school program. The focus is on the students of the International School Velden as well as all interested parties who benefit from an expanded, interculturally shaped curriculum. Eligible expenses exclusively include rent and proportional operating costs. Current operating cost statements and rental invoices must be submitted with the application. A review of the funding agreement provides information on further subsidy requirements. This program offers an attractive opportunity to sustainably strengthen the educational portfolio in Carinthia and integrate international standards into everyday school life.
