Description
The internationalization support in Tyrol offers micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) tailored assistance in developing and reorienting international business fields. The goal is to optimize cross-border alignment through specialized consulting, participation in international trade fairs and exhibitions, as well as targeted marketing measures. Eligible for funding are projects that open up new markets or intensify existing international business relationships. All commercially active SMEs with a location in Tyrol and a valid trade license according to the Trade Regulation Act are entitled to apply. The initiative places great emphasis on a sustainable and competitive positioning of local companies in the global environment and accompanies projects from the concept phase through to implementation.
A wide range of expenses is supported: from internationalization consulting and the creation of subject-specific publications to classic trade fair costs and online marketing activities. One-time grants cover up to 30% of eligible expenses, with a funding focus of up to €50,000 per company annually. Additionally, a sustainability bonus of €5,000 can be claimed. Applications can be submitted continuously from March 1, 2024, until December 31, 2027, at the latest. The corresponding guidelines, application form, and accounting documents are required for the application process. The program strengthens Tyrol’s export-oriented economy and offers a clearly structured path to purposefully expand international competitiveness.
