Internationalization Funding

The internationalization funding supports Tyrolean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in expanding their business activities beyond regional borders and entering new markets. Projects such as international consulting, participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, the creation of targeted publications, as well as classic and digital marketing measures in the field of internationalization are eligible for funding. As a one-time grant, up to 30% of the eligible costs are covered, with a minimum assessment basis of €3,000 and a maximum funding base limit of €50,000 per company and calendar year. Additionally, a sustainability bonus of €5,000 can be applied for, which rewards particularly environmentally oriented measures.

Eligible applicants are SMEs headquartered in Tyrol, assigned to the commercial economy, and holding a valid trade license in accordance with the Trade Regulation Act. Applications can be submitted at any time, as there is no deadline. For the application, the completed application form, the currently valid guidelines, and the required accounting documents must be submitted. The aim of the funding is to strengthen the international competitiveness of local companies through the development or reorientation of cross-border business relationships. Expert review bodies appointed by the State of Tyrol conduct the evaluation of submitted projects and oversee the disbursement of the grant in a transparent and efficient manner.
