Description
Jobs PLUS Training – Funding Agreement enables Viennese companies and service providers, together with the Vienna Employees’ Promotion Fund (waff), to offer approximately 2,400 training positions with integrated job guarantees annually. Between 01.01.2026 and 31.12.2026, placement foundations will be established across various sectors – from municipal public services to climate-relevant professions, digitalization, and other key areas. Through collaboration in the form of sectoral cooperations, the program specifically addresses Vienna’s skilled labor needs. Service providers handle the operational execution of the training, while waff, as the funding body, supports and accompanies the entire process through funding agreements. This creates a win-win situation: participants benefit from free vocational preparation, remuneration, and social insurance during training, while partner companies secure qualified skilled workers with a high retention rate.
Eligible for funding are companies and service providers that offer training positions in Vienna and provide the necessary training infrastructure. The grant is provided as a direct subsidy and requires the implementation of the project in accordance with the contractual agreements (funding agreement). Applications can be submitted throughout the entire funding period, from January to December 2026. A detailed project description and financial plan are required for submission. Interested funding agreement partners receive the exact deadlines and contractual conditions directly in the funding agreement. This offer is aimed at all stakeholders in the fields of health, social affairs, training and further education, education, work & social affairs, who take responsibility for future-oriented training and wish to jointly build sustainable skilled labor potential in Vienna together with waff.
