Description
Jobs PLUS Training annually offers around 2,400 free training positions in Vienna – ranging from health, care, and education to gastronomy and retail, as well as crafts, technology, IT, and office and administrative activities. The initiative combines placement foundations from waff and AMS Vienna with Viennese companies to specifically meet the demand for skilled workers. Participants receive tailored qualification before starting employment, while being financially supported and socially insured. Upon successful completion, a binding permanent position awaits in the training company. Applications can be submitted at any time; funding is provided at 100% and covers both course costs and training-related subsidy benefits.
Funding is provided for unemployed individuals and career changers who present an AMS Vienna-approved education plan and have a firm employment commitment for a fully insured position within the Viennese business environment. Participation in a recognized placement foundation or job-related qualification measure (AQUA) as well as a valid cooperation agreement between the company and waff are prerequisites. For approval, the admission application, education plan, cost estimate, financing confirmation, and evidence such as invoices, participation certificates, and performance records must be submitted. Through the close integration of training, companies, and public authorities, the program contributes to professional integration and strengthens Vienna’s economic strength.
