Youth Welfare Trips (Funding)

The city of Cuxhaven regularly supports holiday and excursion trips for children and youth groups residing or based in Cuxhaven, in order to strengthen social participation and community experiences. As a municipal administration, it offers non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, and public institutions a financial grant for recreational activities conducted within the framework of youth welfare. The aim of the funding is to provide young people with diverse opportunities for personal development and to reinforce cohesion within the group. The focus is on offerings in the areas of education, social affairs, and vocational training.

A prerequisite for submitting an application is that the participants belong to the age group of children and youth and that the group is registered in Cuxhaven. Funding applications can be submitted continuously and without deadline to the Youth and Social Affairs department of the city of Cuxhaven. Most funding decisions are made quickly and unbureaucratically, provided the application includes complete documentation regarding the purpose of the trip, group size, and planned schedule.
