Description
The Carinthian National Park Fund Hohe Tauern supports the long-term preservation of ecologically valuable areas and environmentally friendly forms of land use in Carinthia. The goal is to promote agriculture and forestry adapted to the natural spatial conditions, preserving biodiversity and protecting the landscape’s appearance. Eligible applicants include private individuals, sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporations, cooperatives, associations, and organizations with projects worthy of funding. The funding contributes up to 75% of eligible costs towards the implementation of sustainable management concepts and aims for a close integration of economic viability and ecological compatibility.
Applications can be submitted continuously and without limitation; the maximum project duration is 36 months. Eligible expenses include planning costs, construction costs, and other project-related costs. A prerequisite for application is the resolution by the National Park Committee Hohe Tauern as well as compliance with the funding guidelines (in particular points 6.1, 6.5, and 6.7) and the reasonable own contributions (guidelines 1.2 and 6.1). A complete application includes the fund’s guidelines, the funding application form, the declaration of commitment, all official permits, a financing plan with total costs, own contributions and funding, proof of legal status and representation authority for non-profit entities, and, if applicable, the consent of the authorized disposer.
